I usually use a combination of Topaz Clean (on low opacity before resizing, Smart Sharpen does pretty similar job too), Blur Tool (after resizing I go with the blur tool over the grainy parts on the face) & finally duplicate the layer and use High Pass (on soft light) to make the features pop.

The icons10in20 set is great! I love the color combinations of Close & far and Sugar Rush. The compositions are amazing, especially on Shadow. I also really like the coloring of Autumn Attire :D

Love the coloring in Autumn Attire! Great compositions in Iconic Outfit and Readable Text. Oh, and Shadow. I love how you managed to convey the theme in such a bright icon! <3

Great icons, my faves are: Magic, Readable Text, Shadow, 11, 13, 17, 19, 27, 30, 35, 45, 48, 49 and I don't know the guy in 26/45 but I love his curly hair :)
